I know there are quite a few folks who read my blog who are either bloggers themselves or just plain old photography enthusiasts, so I thought I would do a slightly different post on my new camera bag. My birthday has just recently passed (and I’m weeping because I wanted to be Forvever 21), and my boyfriend surprised me with this really stunning leather camera bag. I had been lugging the starter Canon camera bag around for the past year and it was making me feel a bit like a n00b, so this was a really unexpected and perfect gift.
It is from a brand called Ona and it is crafted from Italian-tanned leather. The brand is a relatively new start up that focuses on making really high quality camera bags and accessories that blend functionality and style all at once. The bag I own is The Bowery and it is a really heavy thick leather that shows wear and tear really easily, but in the best possible way. I adore that it will show how well loved it will become over the years and I think I’ll really enjoy roughing it up. It is just big enough to fit a DSLR and a spare lens, but also houses quite a few pockets. This makes it really ideal for travelling, as I really won’t need to bring a purse.
If your in the market for treating yourself to a fancy bag or know someone else who is, definitely check out Ona. I am overjoyed with this bag and I’m sure anyone else who is lucky enough to receive it (or ballin’ enough to buy it for themselves) would be too.
