The general state of my nails leaves much to be desired. Cracked cuticles and split nails are a common occurrence and I decided that enough was enough. The time had come to invest in some heavy duty help and these are the products that got it done.
Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream
A really lovely lemon scented cuticle cream with a bit more of a waxy consistency. I like to slather this one at least twice a day to really reap all the benefits. This small pot seems to be never ending! I've been using it for months and there is only a small dent in the product.
Burt's Bees Almond & Milk Hand Cream
Burt's Bees has done it again. What can I say? I'm a sucker for this all natural brand. This hand cream has a really thick consistency making it reserved for night time use only. When I wake up in the morning after applying this my hands are as smooth as butter.
OPI Nail Envy
Definitely the standout star of the bunch. Stops further damage and splitting in my nails. Has single-handedly taken my nails from brittle stumps, to the lovely place they are at now. Worth every penny and I can't see myself ever parting with it for long.
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I use this simply because I cannot be bothered to wait for my nails to dry. I am far too impatient and my nails inevitably end up smudged within minutes of painting them. This top coat solves all of those problems and is simply the best top coat I have ever used.
I have a pack of about a million of these and I love them. Pushing my cuticles back before painting them just make them appear so much longer. Now I know you can buy reusable orange sticks but these just work so well and as a side note; they make fantastic dotting tools.
